It grows wild in the Fynbos biome in South Africa, found nowhere else on earth, and it’s special for a number of reasons. It’s naturally sweet, rich in antioxidants, caffeine-free, and when brewed slowly, its flavour is smooth and golden-sweet.

Nature does the work. We respect that.

Our Honeybush is harvested entirely by hand, guided by local knowledge and sustainable practices passed down over generations. Keeping it wild protects biodiversity, supports small-scale pickers, and preserves the natural landscape that gives this miracle plant its character. The result is a tea as clean in taste as it is in conscience.

Our brewing philosophy is simple: we respect the raw materials and trust nature to do the heavy lifting.

Because a little Honeybush goes a long way, FYN is crafted with 94% slow-brewed Honeybush, delicately balanced with pear juice concentrate, enhanced using natural flavouring, and finished off with a touch of citric acid for crisp, refreshing harmony. All flavour variants are developed in collaboration with Nigiro’s master tea blender, Mingwei Tsai, a subtle assurance that every sip is human-crafted, not made in a factory.

The result is a drink that feels refreshing without feeling heavy, sweet without being sugary, and simple without being boring.

FYN began quietly, long before it had a name born from a simple ritual between two friends who found calm in brewing wild Honeybush leaves into tea. In moments of intensity and change, this grounding practice became a source of balance, clarity, and connection.

Years later, a small bundle of wild Honeybush travelled to Ibiza, shared among friends under open skies. What followed felt almost inevitable: intimate underground gatherings where Honeybush was reimagined into delicate, experimental cocktails. One sip was all it took, a natural harmony that resonated deeply. It was love at first taste.

The journey eventually led home, to the mist-kissed valleys of the Langkloof, where Honeybush has always belonged. Surrounded by wild fynbos and ancient rhythms of the land, the vision became clear: this was a South African treasure meant to be shared with the world. As the vision unfolded, so too did the circle behind it. The team was enriched by the guidance of a renowned international strategist and cultural catalyst, bringing focus, depth, and a singular sense of purpose. Together, they formed FYN Beverages under Wild & Conscious, a collective devoted to honouring the land, uplifting local communities, and crafting something pure, intentional, and beautifully South African.
